Construction of Mosques in Andalusia: Toledo and Seville
Author: Basilio Pavon Maldonado
The book examines the Andalusian mosques in Toledo (the city characterized by three cultures - The Islamic, Christian, and Jewish) and Seville, the capital of the Almoravid and the Almohad. The reason for this is that both cities played a major role in the architectural developments that followed and was reflected in what was known as the Catalan school and the Seville school.
