In this book, the reader is introduced to the transitional stages across the history of mosque architecture in Andalusia, starting from the Arab-Islamic era. It allows them to learn about the commonalities amongst Arab-Islamic cultural schools across various parts of the Islamic world, consistent with the indigenous characteristic that helps create its unique nature by reviewing several common subjects related to mosques, especially; those on urban planning, sites, minarets, pulpits, qibla, the concept of the precinct of the mosque, ceilings and lighting, sewage mosque plans and the diversity amongst them, and raw materials used.
