The initiative aims to extend bridges of communication with different cultures; By inviting them to experience a day in Ramadan at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Crowds of participants attending the program are received at the mosque, and first, they listen to a lecture about Ramadan. Later they move on to viewing the firing of the Iftar cannon at the mosque. The program concludes with the participants sharing an iftar meal with thousands of fasting guests at the mosque, reflecting the finest concepts of acceptance, coexistence, and tolerance that emanate from Islam's preachings, manifested in the culture of the UAE society.
